The De Hoop Collection, situated in the De Hoop Nature Reserve, a short three hours’ drive from Cape Town offers a pristine nature reserve, a Ramsar listed vlei, wide open spaces, beaches, whale-watching, coastal fynbos and teeming animal and birdlife, plus a wide range of accommodation that includes various self-catering options and a recent addition – a newly restored and refurbished Villa. De Mond Villa will be one of the properties on the new De Hoop slackpacking trail which is currently being designed. This will be a fully catered and guided 3 to 5 night hike for groups of up to 10. It will include parts of the iconic whale trail route and other spectacular highlights of De Hoop.
