For more than a decade, De Hoop Collection has been guided by a simple belief:

Our work has always reached beyond hospitality. From groundbreaking archaeological research in De Hoop highlighting cultural significance and the understanding of human evolution, to preserving historical homesteads to clearing invasive plants, from sponsoring whale research to supporting youth education, each project reflects our deep responsibility to this extraordinary landscape and the people who call it home.
To protect this legacy and ensure long-term impact, we established the De Hoop Foundation — a dedicated non-profit organisation that now oversees and funds our conservation, heritage, and community projects. All contributions from the Conservation, Heritage & Community (CHC) Fee are channelled directly into the Foundation, ensuring transparent, purposeful investment in projects that genuinely matter.

CONSERVATION, HERITAGE & COMMUNITY (CHC) FEE:
At De Hoop, every stay helps us care for something special. A CHC Fee of R250 per guest per stay supports the protection of our unique environment, the preservation of our rich heritage, and the upliftment of local communities.
When you stay with us, you’re not just visiting—you’re making a meaningful contribution to the people, wildlife, and landscapes that make De Hoop so extraordinary.
This fee does not apply to children up to 11 years old, pilots, or guides.
